today's service is really entertaining. besides the laugh.. there's a seriousness in the message. i thought pastor sy rogers should be the funniest among all. here comes pastor carl. how come the westerners are much more humorous..i'm deeply ministered..
peter had the wildest idea, to walk on the word of God, to be exact, on water. the rest of the disciples.. though their reaction were not written in the bible.. was believed to limit peter's belief.
manz you can imagine when peter was about to set foot on water.
"you'll step on sea urchins when you sink."
"you'll taste salt."
but peter just went on to believe.. how radical.. and he took a few steps on liquid before he doubted.
Jesus didn't say "oh too bad, c'mon james and john, sing a funeral song for peter, oh peter see you in heaven, heh heh heh." the bible quoted 'immediately Jesus pulled him up'
how graceful is God despite the little doubt.
it's a short parable in the gospel. but i can imagine the entire event. praise God.
